SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance "SEGA Villains Stage" downloadable content will be released on April 3 for $9.99 with a free update, publisher SEGA and developer Lizardcube have announced.

Master of the ninja arts Joe Musashi will face his fiercest battles yet as he takes on three legendary SEGA foes: the ruthless giant Death Adder (Golden Axe), the “mad dog” of Shimano Goro Majima (Like a Dragon / Yakuza), and the evil genius Dr. Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog).

"SEGA Villains Stage" downloadable content takes players through exciting new stages with amazing worlds inspired by the beloved SEGA franchise. Downloadable content includes:

- Three new bosses

- Five new levels

- Two new Boss Rush modes

- Three new Ninpo

- Three new outfits

- Six new pieces of music

The "SEGA Villains Stage" downloadable content is included with the purchase of the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.Players who own a standard version of the game can get in on the action by purchasing the downloadable content as a single item ($9.99 MSRP USD) or as an upgrade package ($11.99 MSRP USD) when the downloadable content is released.

Along with the downloadable content release on April 3rd, Shinobi: Art of Vengeance will also receive a free update patch.The patch will add "Hardcore Mode" and battle system customization, and include updates to character outlines, maps, and demo features.

SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam.
