Andrea Coselli joins Keystone as Co-Head of Europe
An advisory firm to tier-one technology firms, government agencies and global law firms on strategy, economics, technology and competition, today announced that Andrea Coscelli will join as Partner and Co-Head of the European practice on January 3, 2023.
Dr Koselli, a European expert on antitrust and competition economics, was chief executive of the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) for six years until last July. He will co-lead the company’s European expansion alongside Christina Cavara, who established Keystone’s European operations earlier this year with an integrated antitrust, economics and technology advisory service.

Dr. Koselli has twenty-five years of experience in competition economics. He led the CMA between 2016 and 2022 during a period of significant growth following the UK’s exit from the European Union. Under his guidance, the agency has built leading capabilities in data and technology, which are now being adopted by other leading agencies, and worked on several high-profile global antitrust and merger cases involving digital companies. Prior to joining the CMA as a member of the Executive Board in 2013, Dr Koselli was Director of Competition Economics at Ofcom (the UK’s communications and media regulator) and Partner at Charles River Associates. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University.
