Are high mountains too high to climb?
Week 11 promises to be another big action in the power rankings.
The Serab game is our 1 rams for us (two teams that haven't caught a game since pecking. Sam Darnold and Matthew Stafford might save a few tall ones in it.
But it was almost a match that only takes several weeks. There were three more meetings of the top 10 teams to look forward to: the lions in the eagles, the presidents in the broncos, and the Buccaneers in the bills.
The Jaguars are also slated to be a matchup of teams that would be in the playoffs if they started today, although those two teams appear to be headed in opposite directions. And the Bears could provide some clarity to the Vikings in the NFC North.
There is a lot to look forward to, but what is the current situation? Here is the updated league standings:
Note: The up and down arrows below reflect the movement of the performance rankings over the 10 weeks.
I went on a rant after making people so unhappy that they were surprised to read this.Hello, I understand! It's not like the article will still be, um, linear this year. But after following sea hawks, even for bad things, I feel I have the right to kick them out of this place. In a season where I had many Notopu groups on my list, I feel stable.Things got a little worse on Sunday, with Week 7 winning four tests where Expert has clear points in Arizona, where he has plenty of points.Overall, a strong defense of high interest rates.
Matthew Stafford is building a legitimate MVP case, and the Rams have added a new wrinkle to their campaign: more tight ends!Their 13-man package, which Sean McVay used exclusively for his career, is now used for his entire career, and now in L.A., the Rams are a team with a personnel group that matches their size and flexibility.Davt's late arrival against the 49ers was another win within a win.likedYes, the 49ers are hitting the heck out of it, but they beat the Cubs in early October, so McVay looks bad.His team fought and won: zero penalties, zero turnovers and zero missed tackles.
It's another tough test for the Colts, who came down to earth after going through the cracks with a hard-fought win in Berlin. They cleared yards and two, but also left on the board thanks to thoughtful thinking, defensive violations, penalties and turnovers.Still, they found a way to hit the fall on Sunday, with Jonathan Taylor challenging people to consider the non-secondary.The league is not a big deal. It's hard to get an accurate estimate right now, with the receiver still having a good fit hitting the IR thing, if he's going to clean it up before the weekend manager increase.
Monday night, the Eagles won another clumsy and ugly game. They're back.Style point doesn't apply to this team to figure out a formula for this type of win, despite Nick Sirianni's best efforts to make something interesting.great running and performance.A 41-yard catch to set up what would eventually be a TD.
Dan Campbell took over the offensive play-calling and the Lions had their most productive performance on that side of the ball this season.Bully for them!Look, I get why it created some drama, relieving first-year player John Morton of his duties in the middle of the season, but it worked — and that's all that matters now.Even against a Washington defense that has been crushed by most teams this season, it was a comprehensive shutout in which the Lions scored on every offensive possession before the clock ran out late in the game.It came against a Detroit team in last season's playoffs.Tougher challenges await, but the Lions served as a reminder that they can go nuclear while they're on.
Obviously, those strong ratings have fired up Patriots fans, many of whom have pointed out that I've been too slow to make the jump. After a shaky win at home against the Falcons, the Patriots moved up a weight class on the road and picked up one of their biggest wins of the season in Tampa, and I have no choice but to get on board.Derrick May has made several big plays as usual, but ask the QB team. Most likely, rookie Travin Henderson had his best game as a pro so far, and the defense made several clutch stops, none bigger than the fourth down in the final minute. He showed the cuts.He is also a smart and tough team coach.
Kansas City had a very quiet weekend, with trades falling and some missing pieces coming back over the next few weeks.Limited in some areas, but more effective than the Chiefs thought, but disappointingly so, they still field one of the most dangerous passing outfits.I still think KC will have a tough time first, even with the Creatures and 10 or 11 wins.Playoffs are tough. The Chiefs can make a strong run to clinch the division, but will they need to sweep their remaining three games against the Broncos and Chargers? They just might.I understand that the Chiefs are ranked higher than the other powerhouses here, but it's wrong in my mind to ignore the AFC Championship based on record.
I've heard it from the Broncos who believe that I introduced a low baby, but Wednesday was the right thing that gave the right feeling. The machine is clearly the best of the champion when Papertrick Porm Apar is on the line, and it is the same with him.The Broncos Toungderstestestestestestestestestestestestestestestestestestes is in 1984 Beaches but will cover the week of unemployment if not the Rult Cove.B Book and CO.It has been shown that all seasons are stable and ready to fly Broncos if they show a good luck, especially in the game. And punishment should stop some ideas, right?
What? What should we do about the bill? They followed up their most important win of the season with their explosive streak by a mile. This was a Dolphins team that they beat repeatedly, and it wasn't even close - Miami held the Bills on the scoreboard until the fourth quarter and never let them go again.Josh Allen had a poor game, but he rarely had open tacklers, especially after Dalton Kincaid left with a knee injury. The passing game isn't working as well as it should be, raising questions about why Buffalo isn't working anymore.Defensively, it was a big step back from two weeks ago. There are enough games left on the schedule to right the ship, but the Patriots are threatening to run away with the AFC East.
At 6-3, with all three losses to playoff-caliber teams, there's no time for the Buccaneers to panic. It also helped that the two teams directly below them in the NFC South race also lost on Sunday, but the last thing the Bucs want to do is get back into the division title game. They know they have to play better to be real contenders.Tampa Bay got off to a hot start against New England with a strong opening TD drive ... and then went into an offensive timeout. That was enough to open the door, with the Bucs D allowing plays of 72, 69, 55 and 54 yards, the first three of which went for touchdowns. We've gotten used to Baker Mayfield pulling it out late and the Bucs having their chances, but not being able to find another run when they needed it.A frustrating setback, but nothing that would significantly change their outlook.
Justin Herbert took a little too many hits for my liking and didn't get into the game until after halftime, but it was a good recipe for a win against the Steelers with the Chargers defense doing their job.I still think Pittsburgh was their own worst enemy Sunday night, but LA deserves credit for excellent coverage and pressure. There were things I liked offensively as well.Kimani Vidal continued to provide quality representatives in the backcourt and in the last few games Ed McConkie has regained the go-to-boy role he won last season. But there's still one buyer beware element of this team that I can't shake off even after three straight wins.If the highlights make it through a rough December in its entirety, I will definitely return to my hesitancy.
No one will be angry at the eagles, when Jordan tries his love at night, and the recipient will go down again and again. The offensive line also struggled, and before Elgton Jenkins suffered an injury before halftime.Jayden Reed is now.If the offense can get it right, Green Bay has a chance to be a true title contender, but not if the unit plays like it did on Monday.
The 49ers have health concerns in brock and defensive issues.Outside of the Falcons game, Robert Saleh's team has not been in good shape. At the same time, despite the forced home in the fourth quarter, Mack Jones is almost perfect for the Rams, about to explode 21-0.Who knows what Kyle Shanahan will do at QB, but it's hard for Dench Jones the way he's playing right now.It is difficult to find a self-defense solution to stop the bleeding.San Francisco is still in good shape at 6-4 with a cool machine game, but there seems to be a lid on what this team can do.
I spent most of the first half of the season praising the play of Aaron Rodger and wondering what kind of year Pittsburgh would have if Pittsburgh played at normal levels. Then Rodger and the offense went back against the Chargers, while the defense talked about improvement. It's very hard to completely buy into this steelers team right now, even with the top two teams in the AFC (New England and Indianapolis).Sunday night was the first time I heard that.Degerger looked tired and slow, at least for the last few years. He took a safety, threw a high number and was extended three times, and fought hard to get the ball in his hands to make any plays. The crows are coming. Can the Chileans collapse?
Let's give this revitalized defense its future. The last four games have been a marked improvement from what we saw early in the season, with Zach Orr's team holding all four opponents to under 20 points. The Ravens forced many more takeaways and earned more key stops, though Minnesota could have helped Baltimore by sticking to the run.Either way, this unit helped pick up Lamar Jackson and Co. when the offense got bogged down in the red zone.Jackson has been a late starter, but it's nice to know the Ravens don't have to be perfect on offense.Sunday was a reminder that they can beat teams in threes these days.
Things didn't look good when the Bruins turned the ball over on downs midway through the fourth quarter, trailing 20-10 to the lowly Giants, who were without starting QB Jaxson Dart (concussion) for the final 15 minutes. But Caleb Williams recovered from a string of missed passes to lead two thrilling TD drives in the final six minutes and complete his fourth fourth-quarter comeback.quarter of the season.Williams sparked the Giants' offense by getting out of potential sacks and making big plays along the way."The Bruins have done a great job protecting the ball, turning it over just three times since Week 3, allowing them to accumulate the league's best turnover percentage on the season - so far - at 14. That's a good reason why the Bruins have won six of their last seven games. You could argue that they have yet to beat a major team, but the rest of the chances will give them plenty of opportunities.
We might look back on Davis Mills' fourth-quarter heroics against Jacksonville as the turning point of Houston's season. The Texans looked dead and buried before he led a furious comeback, keeping Houston from falling to 3-6 and giving the team another important division victory. The Texans sit in third place in the AFC South and C.J. Stroud suffered a concussion earlier this week. But they're only two spots out of the final wild card spot, and the Texans are as good a defense as almost anyone in the , so they remain a threat, even if there's work to be done.A win at Tennessee on Sunday would get them back to .500, and with that comes a three-game stretch against AFC contenders who have all shown some weakness lately. If Houston can win in Nashville and clinch at least two of the next three, the playoffs remain a reasonable goal.
No watering down here: It was one of the worst regular season losses in franchise history. The Jaguars beat the Texans and backup QB Davis Mills soundly on Sunday, taking a 29-10 lead thanks to great special teams, defense and plenty of offense.Next Generation Statistics gave them a 97% chance of winning at that point.Somehow, Jacksonville's defense allowed Mills to recover from multiple sacks and drive three touchdowns in more than one quarter, with a defensive TD that expired for added torture.Jacksonville is coming off a one-point overtime win over Las Vegas after four straight losses.Liam Coen faces his first crisis as Jaguars coach as it gets dark very quickly.
If you have a good read on what kind of team Carolina is, please drop me a lineI'd love to know because it's clear that these Panthers need a broader scope than digging into what happens to them every week.We saw a 30-0 win followed by 29-point losses in Weeks 3 and 4.Three straight wins, then another blowout lossAn upset ensued in Green BayFrom loss of house to lower saintsBeautiful attractive road up to 5-5Sunday's loss was a real blow to the Panthers' playoff chances and another step forward for the offense, which has allowed 45 points in its last four games. With Rico Dowdle bottling, Bryce Young may not perform against a Saints defense that was plastered a week ago. With time running out in Carolina with this discrepancy, the Panthers also sit just one game out of the last playoff spot.
It was another chaotic experience for J.J.McCarthy at QB and it didn't end with a thrilling win in Detroit.McCarthy wasn't helped by the Vikings' penalty kill against the Ravens, a staggering eight false start penalties and perhaps not Kevin O'Connell's best game as a player.Still, McCarthy threw two spikes, missed a couple of key shots in the third and pulled away late despite a great effort.could notIt didn't help that Myles Price had two straight tackles (one lost). The Vikings still have plenty of high-stakes games to prove themselves, but they have yet to win back-to-backs.
The Falcons started 3-2 and flew high to 3-6 and wondered if the playoffs had left the coffee. In the previous season, back in 1990, only eight teams (out of 164) that started 3-6 continued to make the posts.Even if the schedule is a bit lighter, it will be a big step up, especially in terms of how the offense is run.Sure, allowing 519 yards on defense is nothing to write home about, but the Falcons have built this offense to be explosive and dynamic.Michael Penix Jr.Struggles with consistency, especially in the third quarter. The Falcons continued to drive the ball past the Colts in Berlin, but it was only 18 yards when Penix went down.It should be better.
As in PQB1, the status of Quice Cabress Equity is based on the basis of PACB1.Be that as it may, Bassitt couldn't overcome a bad block from the shores that seemed to carry over from the end of the game.Bristes has been pointed to missed assignments twice.35-0 Methway through the second quarter. They looked like the better team after halftime when they braved a pass, but two turnovers down the Seattle 10-yard line led to a miraculous comeback. The Cards are currently 0-3 out of a wild card spot and 0-3 in the NFC West. Not great.
Cowboys' bond of love on Friday after getting Free Williams, tragedy struck with the death of Marshawn Tiswalik. This team did a lot after August, but it was about more than just football. At some point he will return to the gridiron and the bullpen will cut himself a little, but will this be a big deal?Williams on their defense. It makes a difference, but this part seems to be more than the main player.Dallas' offense will have to be at its best in two weeks and two games to go and take another road trip at home.
Had a libible run on the moon, got a good look at the dolphins, got blown out twice and got two winning runs that were visible.Like this season, Miami has a ways to go to be strong and strive for one.Record for.Record, but it will be enough to save McdanielAnu feels very good right now, even in narrow dominance against the bill. It's hard to know what we're getting from week to week with this club. But it's good to know that the fin still flips in the sight from time to time, I guess.
Joe Burrow is back in training after missing most of the season with an elbow injury, which could offer a glimmer of hope. But even if QB1 returns to action, what? Can the Bengals hope to surpass Joe Flacco's recent play to the point where losses are turned into wins? That suddenly seems far away.Cincinnati's defense has been a sore point all season, nine games into the season.300 points and looks to be worse on the ball side. The Bengals are uncharacteristic at 3-6, but there would be a different level of hope if the defense had another chance in each of their last two losses. They would be 5-4, which looks better and could justify putting Burrow back in the starting lineup.Their next five games are against playoff contenders and three of their next four are on the road.Maybe Barrow can cause some profit, but the sins really can't lose much and stay in the water.
That seems like a pretty low level after last season. The Commanders dropped their fifth straight (and decided their fourth straight by 20-plus points), allowed 44 points for the second time in four games and lost DT Daron Payne to an ejection and subsequent suspension for the Week 11 game at Madrid.Oh, and Jaden Daniels is still injured, even if his elbow injury isn't as bad as first feared. If Daniels and some receivers return to the team, there may be some improvement on offense, but there can be no realistic hopes for major upgrades on defense. This unit has regressed to the point this season that it's one of the worst defenses in the league right now — and stopping the Dolphins next Sunday will be a real task.
Just another double whammy for the Giants, who blew a double-digit lead on the road for the fourth time this season and also demoted their QB.Jackson Dart was kicking and punching the Bears before he left with a concussion, his fourth assessed this season. That's the biggest concern right now, even after another heartbreaking loss that cost Brian Daboll his job.It wasn't shocking after Sunday's loss — a contest in which the G-Men held a 10-point lead with four minutes left — but that's what happens when your team keeps losing chances to win games. It is now four in a row with bye games against the Packers, Lions and Patriots.Regardless of how they finish, the Giants will be looking for their fifth head coach since Tom Coughlin's last season ten years ago.
Unfortunately, the best effort of the season - by losing 10-7 loss last Thursday in Denver. The offense just hasn't done enough this season, with or without brock brock on the field.Bowers had a play Thursday, making the longest catch of the game early in the second quarter ... and then wasn't targeted for the rest of the game.I mean, come on.Geno Smith is up 12 catches and clearly has not proven to be that man.Ashton Jeanty had a 32-yard run called back and the attackers at the end of the game, but Chip Kelly needs to find a solution quickly or this unit could be looking years from now.
Were you expecting a 13-10 snoozer against Cleveland? The Jets may have traded a lot of their defense at the deadline, but they got another win and played with good effort, even though the offense lacked until the fourth quarter. It was a banner day for the Jets' special teams, with two fumble returns for touchdowns helping them make a late run.Interestingly, New York received some great contributions from the players that were traded.Talk about chatter.Brice Hall was one of the few reliable offensive sources on Sunday, while Quincy Williams and Will McDonald IV both had impressive games.
The Browns held the jam to 169 yards (42) and did not turn the ball over, and he still lost. The return of two tons allowed on special teams was the difference, and the six penalty kicks were killers. Most of them put the jets or eliminated the favorite goat in the browns. Not to mention the extent of the abuse.I would love to hear the exact event of the week extension, which is the plan.Whether it's a sign of shedur lights or an acknowledgment that he or Gabriel are not the first issue and that they are playing the string they have.If you are half of the glass, the browns and leopards (Whocks of Clevonvid And the bagos, dolphins and saints who saw last week are still in the 2026 plan, but not everyone can make it in the middle.
Tyler Shough improved from his first start to his second to get a statement road win at Carolina. The Saints scored just 17 points, their fifth straight game under 20 points, but it was arguably their best offensive performance despite trading two starters (wide receiver Rasheed Shahid and OT Trevor Penning) before the deadline. New Orleans finished with a season-high 388 yards, notthere were no offensive errors and only two offensive penalties (although both bad flags were in high-leverage positions). Shaw stood up to many of the Panthers' blitzes and established key connections with Chris Olave and Juwan Johnson. That's an exciting development for a rookie quarterback who has a chance to prove he's worth starting in 2026.
The Titans' rookie class has been a mixed bag this season, as Cam Ward is trying to find consistency, but they have more offensive snaps than defensive rookies. After the trade deadline of Dre'Mont Jones and Roger McCreary, as well as with Oluwafemi Oladejo on IR, it's hard to imagine Tennessee's D playing better after the bye.#1 overall pick at the moment. With the main goal being improvement, there are tougher games than long ones where Ward should at least be tested - but with an interim head coach, it's more difficult and changes are likely to happen during the season.Hang in there, Titans fans.Better days are ahead.
