New York is doubling down on Ohio State 2nd year running back Aaron Glenn.
Fornelli's 2026 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Jets and Cowboys flavor first round with top 10 trades
New York doubled its efficiency against Ohio State's quarterback in year two under Aaron Glenn
This is my first mock draft, which means I have a lot more useful information about these players than I did on my last attempt. That said, I try not to put too much weight into what happens in the mix.
The measurements are cool (and important) and the 40 measurements are fun, but for the most part I use the data collected to break the "bonds" on my board rather than completely overturning it.This does not mean, however, that there are not players whose fortunes change radically.
In my first mock, I had Georgia running back Monroe Frieling going 29th overall to the Los Angeles Rams.I wrote at the time that Frieling had a lot of imagination because he doesn't have as much history as the rest of the class, but the combine can make him fly on the board.
Freeling has a performance. In a deep class at the OT spot -- and some questions about how many left tackles there are -- Freeling's performance and potential make him even more attractive. This fact is evident in my new mock as Freeling is off the board early.
ڪيترو جلد؟Well, you'll have to keep reading to find out.
Method 1 - Choose 1
I was happy with the comments that Fernando Mendoza made on social media during the meeting.Yes, the 6-foot-5, 230-pound QB had Miami defenders (some of whom were first picks) jump on him on his TD run in the title game.Who would have thought?
Round 1 - Pick 2
I've seen some fake Arvel Reese leave after the combine, but I'm standing firm here.As far as what he already is and what he can become, Reese is the most attractive defensive prospect in this class.
1 basket - 3 banners
I asked the Cardinals to start in OT last season, and while they need more, David Bailey gives me more value to the Cardinals with this pick than all the available tackles.
Select Steps 1 - 4
Everything the Titans do should support Cam Ward, and that includes the ground game. The Titans had one of the least explosive offenses in the NFL last year.Love immediately solves this problem.
Round 1 - Pick 5
Would we all like Carnell Tate to run a 4.2?Sure.Take his size and skill and add 4.2 speed and you have a guy who is probably the #1 pick in the draft! While I still have a slight preference for Makai Lemon, Tate seems to me to be a better fit for Jackson Dart's skill set.
Select Rounds 1 - 6
The Browns have started to address the offensive line through trades, but there is still a lot of work to be done.Francis Mauigoa is the next big step in the right direction.
Round 1 - Xaiv 7
Arm's length is a talking point in the draft (thanks to Will Campbell) and I can understand why the team is worried about Rueben Bain Jr's.However, I don't care.Watch him play soccer.Maybe he won't get 20 sacks in a season but he will improve your defense in all aspects.
Select rounds 1 - 8
The memes of Makai Lemon staring into your soul during his press conference were fun, but don't let that distract you from the fact that he's the most natural wide receiver in his class.
Fake word trading
Kansas City Chiefs
Round 1 – Pick 9
Sonny Styles surprised everyone in the mix and contributed his products. So much so that the Cowboys decided to go into the top ten to retire him before anyone else could.

Press Y I card 1 - y 10
The Jets have a lot of draft capital, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them move up the apple for a second pick. With Caleb Downs still available, this makes a lot of sense, as Aaron Glenn can add Arvell Reese and Downs to his defense.Suddenly, it's a much stronger unit front and rear.
1. Tour - 11. Tour
Mansour Delaney is my top corner in the class and will improve a Miami secondary that needs improvement. He is the best pure cover corner in the class.
I-Mock Trade ti
Round 1 – Pick 12
The Chiefs moved down a few spots, picked up a few additional picks, and then selected the long-term replacement for Travis Kelce. It will be a lot of fun to see what Andy Reid comes up with with Kelce and Sadiq on the field.
Round 1 - 13th pick
It may not be the most pressing need for the Rams, but with two first-rounders, they have a lot of faith in Monroe Freeling and are looking to secure a potential franchise left tackle for the next decade.
Round 1 - Pick 14
Maybe it's too early for Yoan Olaivawega, but aside from "potential guard moves," he's the best guard on my board. The Ravens could use some strength inside their line.
Choose rounds 1 - 15
His production hasn't always hit his mark during his time at Clemson, but T.J. Parker will add another player to Tampa's pass rush that needs a lot of help.
Trade in counterfeits since
The Jetty
Pick Rounds 1 - 16
I could see the Bengals taking a shot at the bullpen after the trade, but for my money, Caleb Banks is the better value. The Bengals OL has gotten a lot of attention, but that's not the only offensive line Cincinnati can improve on.
Round 1 - 17th pick
The Lions are starting to rebuild their offensive line, and Taylor Decker isn't getting any younger at left tackle. It might make more sense to go defense here, as the need is more pressing, but Kadyn Proctor is an attractive prospect who could begin his career at guard while being groomed as Decker's long-term replacement.
Round 1 – Exam 18
Dillon Tinneman is another player who did very well for himself during the combine. He was great at Oregon last year and his athleticism shined in Indianapolis."The Vikings need to replace Harrison Smith, and Tinneman could be the answer.
Select Rounds 1 - 19
I really like Keldric Faulk as a prospect, though it makes me wonder where his long-term position is.He is a big boy, and he is still very young. There's room to grow, but he's already getting a good grasp on how to get after the QB.
Green Bay Packers
Round 1 - Pick 20
The Cowboys need help in the passing game, and while Akhim Masudor is already pretty polished (he'll be 25 in April), he's a good player who will make an immediate impact in Dallas.
Round 1 - Selection 21
I had the Steelers take a QB here last time, but I feel like the pressure on Ty Simpson has eased a little lately, and I'm not so sure we'll see two QBs in the first. So this time around, the Steelers take Arizona State's Jordin Tyson, who has great value here and could move up the board depending on how he performs at his pro day.
Round 1 - Pick 22
Spencer Fano takes a slide from where I had him in my last draft, but not because I like him any less. That's because teams seem confused about arm length in OT after watching Will Campbell get destroyed in the Super Bowl.Fano might be best suited as a guard in the NFL, and that's where I think the Chargers would put him.
Round 1 - Choose 23
Avion Terrell is not very big, but he is sticky, tough, mean and confident. If he were two inches taller, he would be top 10. Still, he's excellent value for the Eagles at the end of the first round.
Round 1 - 24 picks
After adding another offensive lineman with their first pick, the Browns are now looking to help the offense by moving Denzel from Boston to Washington. He's not a shooter, but he's a great runner with strong hands and a big body that can help you move the chains and score points in the red zone.
Select Rounds 1 - 25
Zion Young is young compared to many of the other EDGE expectations in this class. The Bears need all the protection, but their crossover will be anemic in 2025. The young Bears may not make an immediate impact, but will probably prove to be a monster with further development.
Round 1 - Pick 26
Omar Cooper Jr. had a great combine that helped his stock significantly. Buffalo needs a weapon at receiver, and Cooper seems to me to be the type of player who will know how to find the space to help Josh Allen in a 20 minute overtime.
Select cycle 1 - 27
I don't know what the plan is for Trent Williams (my plan is to always want Trent Williams on your team), but whether he returns or not, the 49ers should try to improve their offensive line.Caleb Lomu is a promising player who could go much sooner.
Select Rounds 1 - 28
Blake Miller had an excellent fit.In a class with a lot of tackles that might not be tackles, there's no doubting Miller's goals for the position. He also showed excellent strength and athleticism when training on the field. That said, he's never been one to really stand out on tape when I see him. He's always looked good to me, not great.
1st row - select 29th
Jermod McCoy missed all of 2025 with a torn ACL and did not perform at the combine.Because of this, I dropped it from where I originally had it.Still, he was very good in 2024, and as long as teams are satisfied with his draft day medicals, he'll likely remain a first-round pick. The question is, how long will he go?This could be an absolute steal for the Rams right now.
Round 1 - Pick 30
CJ Allen doesn't have the elite athleticism of other Georgia linebackers who have entered the first round this decade, but he's still a good athlete with strong instincts and the kind of leadership skills you look for at the position.
Select Round 1 - 31
Would Eli Stowers be the type of tight end you'd be happy to put on the line to help block the pass rusher or set the edge in the run game?Maybe not.But he'll be a matchup nightmare for goaltenders and defenders in the passing game and a useful chess piece for a smart offensive coordinator.
Round 1 - Selection 32
Just what Seattle needs: another defensive player.I don't know which way the Seahawks are going from here.I can just as easily see the trades being out of place (they only have four options) to choose from, but for this drill I chose a different aggressive angle that helps with the pass and run.
