“Lado A, Lado B” is Victor Manuel’s twentieth and newest album, delighting his diverse audience, dedicating “Lado A” to the modern sounds he has given validity to his music, and in “Side B”, to the ear of a traditional salsa singer, to “heavy and fat salsa” rhythms , which pays homage to salsa in the ’70s.
The salsa singer’s nominations come after it was announced that he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album, as well as for his record production of “Lado A, Lado B.”
This album was released in April 2022 and was recently selected as one of the best musical productions of the past year, according to the National Foundation for Popular Culture.
