Eurostat estimates that annual inflation in the eurozone will be 6.9% in March 2023

The European Statistics Office (Eurostat) announced on Friday that it expects annual inflation in the eurozone to be 6.9% in March 2023, compared to 8.5% in February.

Also, the office pointed out The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in the euro area reached 6.6% in February 2023, which is stable compared to January of the same year and less than 6.8% in February 2022.
The unemployment rate in the European Union was 6% in February 2023, down from 6.1% in January and 6.2% in February 2022.
Eurostat estimates that 13.12 million people in the European Union, of which 11.14 million are in the eurozone, were unemployed in February 2023.
Unemployment decreased by about 24 thousand people in the European Union and by 59 thousand in the euro area compared to January 2023, and by 247 thousand in the European Union and by 257 thousand in the euro area compared to February 2022.
