Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of WWE SmackDown on February 13.

Here's a look at what WWE has announced for this week's show:

Let's take a look at all the things that happened on this week's show.

It's Tiffy time again

1 of 8 After the usual photos of people walking backstage, Tiffany Stratton made her way to the ring to cut a promo to start the show.

He talked about losing the WWE Championship, but was on his way to winning it again thanks to his elimination chamber selection.Jax and Legend come out to talk trash and threaten Tiffy, but Ripley and Skye leave before they have a chance.

This leads to a women's title match, so Stratton has a cool exit once Ryo is in the ring.

Stratton has a large following, but even as a babyface, some of the things she says seem more befitting of a heel. She was a really good antagonist in NXT and it would be great to see her take on that role on the main roster.

His introduction was short and everything that followed was cookie-cutter, but jumping right into the first game without a long speech segment to start the show was a nice change of pace.

Notable moments and observations

Ryo vs. Lash Legend and Nia Jax

2 of 8 Last time in action: Rhiyo defeated Giulia and Kiana James (SD, February 6), Legend and Jax lost to Giulia and James (SD, January 23)

Sky and Jax started the match for their teams. The Genius of the Sky used her speed to neutralize Jax's power advantage before tagging in Ripley for a double team spot.

Once the heels hook Sky, they take control and try to send him to the floor.Sky feels like he's the underdog as he gives both opponents a big thumbs up.

It's hard to say exactly what it was, but it felt like the game was missing something that would have made it more exciting. The champions never felt in danger of losing their titles.

The referee finally called for the bell as everyone brawled at ringside.Unfortunately, the most exciting part of it all happened after it was over. The brawl between the four women was more entertaining than the match as a whole.

Result: No competition.

Highlights and observations

Carmelo Hayes;Ilja DragunovMatt CardonaMFTs with Apollo Crews and Shinsuke Nakamura

3 of 8 Carmelo Hayes is shown telling Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews that the open challenge is closed for the week. After the break, he went to the ring.

He announced that he will compete in an Elimination Chamber Qualifier match next week as he focuses on the main event of WrestleMania. He then challenged Ilja Dragunov to a shot at his title.

Before the match started, Solo Sequoia and MFT came out. They attack Hayes and Dragunov.Cardona, Cruz and Shinsuke Nakamura stepped up to help even in the face of adversity.Nick Aldis came out and made it a 10-man tag match.

We turned around and saw the match that had already taken place. What followed was exactly what you would expect in this type of match. Each participant took turns entering the ring, so it never felt like anyone was spending too much time as a legal man.

The match was predictable, but also fun. They hit some great spots during their match and it was fun to see Hayes and Dragunov on the same page.

Tama Tonga was able to get the win for his team by pinning Melo, which would have put him in line for the title.Wyatt's patients appeared in the crowd after the match, but there was no controversy.

Result: MFTs win

Notable moments and observations

Alexa Bliss vs.Giulia vs.Vega Vega

4/8 Charlotte Flair escorted Bliss to the ring in a Triple Threat EC Qualifier match against Vega and Giulia, who had Kiana James as their corner.

These are three talented contestants and they wasted no time in stepping things up.None of them felt like they were locked in to winning, which helped make the outcome a little more unpredictable.

James and Flair didn't have much of an impact for most of the match, and it ended fairly cleanly with Bliss pinning Vega along with Sister Abigail to pick up the win.

Considering there are no DQs in matches like this, it was shocking that WWE resisted writing any more interference.

Result: Bliss defeated Julia and Vega

Notable moments and observations

Ray Fenix vs. Trick Williams

5 of 8 Last in action: Fenix and Williams lost the Rumble (Royal Rumble)

After Zayn got a pep talk backstage, Fenix faced Williams in the next match.Trick Willy cut a quick promo before Fenix came out.

Williams was able to dominate him at first, but eventually the Airplane found a way to counter him and get some offense, including a low jumper that earned him two counts.

They battled through defeat in the next division. When we came back, Fenix was in control, but a backhand from Williams put her on the mat.

These two work well to make a decent match. There's no big feud behind it, so it's nice to have a fight that feels like two guys trying to prove who's better without a deeper conflict.

The second half was much more exciting than the first.Phoenix performed well, but Williams defeated him with a trick shot and won.

Result: Williams defeated Fenix

Notable moments and moments

Jade Cargill vs. Jordynn Grace

Final Action 6 of 8: Cargill & Grace defeat Judgment Day (SD, February 6)

Cargill finally defended the WWE Women's Championship against Grace this week. Before the match started, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Dominic Mysterio came to watch from the ring.

As the match began, as Cargill pushed Grace into the corner, the crowd started chanting Doom Doom. Both women have a lot of strength, but Jade had the height advantage, giving her more leverage in certain moves.

Cargill still has some things he needs to work on, but Grace did a good job covering some of his flaws. This wasn't great, but it had some highlights.Grace looked good especially during some of the power moves.

Judgment Day didn't have much of an impact on this match, and Cargill got a clean win with his Jaded finisher.

Result: Cargill defeated Grace

Notable moments and observations

Sami Zayn vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu

7 of 8 Last time in action: Zayn defeated McIntyre (Royal Rumble), Rhodes and Fatu lost in the Rumble (Royal Rumble)

The main event of the week sees Zayn, Rhodes and Fatu battle for the vacant spot in Elimination Chamber. All three expressed their opinions on the game in the pre-game show.

Fatu and Rhodes also had a personal rivalry, so they tried to take Zayn out early so they could wrestle, but The Underdog hit both men with a big dive as the show went to break.

They spent over 20 minutes on this match, so they had no problem making it fun while taking the time to sell a lot of points.Usually they have one boy sitting on the side while the other two fight and switch, but there are times when all three of them fight.

As it looked like Fatu was going to win, Drew McIntyre suddenly hit the Claymore to take him out.He also hit Rhodes with a kick and then put Zayn on top of him, but The American Nightmare kicked out.

Right after Zayn hit McIntyre with a Helluva Kick, Rhodes hit the Rhodes Cross for the win.

Result: Rhodes defeated Zayn and Pato

Minutes and special comments

The last word

Friday's SmackDown at 8 on 8 made some strides in the build to the Elimination Chamber PPV and featured a few title matches, but overall it was a pretty average episode.

Some of the matches don't stand out, and those only stand out because there is little competition for the best match of the night.

Rhodes, Fatou and Zayn had the most memorable performances, but Williams and Phoenix also put on a fun show.

Had one of the titles on the line changed, this would have been a satisfying story, but Cargill and Rio held on to their belts.

The lineup for Elimination Chamber is shaping up to be some heavy hitters, so expect both Chamber matches to live up to expectations.
