Stranger Things has a canon stage drama, First Shadow, which reveals the truth about how Vecna gains power over another world.
Stranger Things is the first Shadow game to reveal how Vecna got her powers
Spoiler fyrir Stranger Things: The First Shadow.
Season 4 of Stranger Things had a lot of problems, including overwork and overkill, but it also gave us the first series of great villains. On the show - including the inclusion of Mind Flayer at his own will.At least it seems until you watch the Stranger Things show.
In a rather brutal move for multimedia history, Netflix has produced a theatrical adaptation of “Stranger Things” that is not just canon for the show, but completely and utterly essential to understanding the final season.Theatricals of TV shows are nothing new – anime does it all the time!- but it tends to either just retell the story of the TV show or be an unconventional story that is not connected to the main plot.Despite how much Marvel has sought to connect TV shows that not many people watch with the theatrical movie, it's pretty certain that Netflix has pulled the plug.Stranger Things: The First Shadow premiered in London in 2023, a full two years before the release of Season 5, yet the show contains several key revelations that are now important in the premiere.
One such explanation is how Vecna got his powers. No, Vecna didn't when Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) turned him into a monster after throwing him into Martin Brenner's (Matthew Modine) dimension.

Fast forward to the next section
"The First Shadow" tells the story of Henry Creel, the family moved to Hawkins, Henry loves the parents of all the characters in the show, and we know how he became evil.Written by "Stranger Things" writer and co-executive producer Kate Treffery, "The First Shadow" opens with a prologue seemingly set in 1943, depicting the Philadelphia experience in which the United States attempts to launch a World War II submarine, but accidentally fails to launch enough illium. The Demogorgon shows up and kills the entire crowd except for one.
The only survivor is Dr.Brenner's father, and his exposure to Dimension X caused genetic changes in his blood. This, along with the stories he told his son, made the younger Brenner obsessed with this alternate dimension, leading him to establish the Nevada Experiment to recreate the conditions of the Philadelphia Experiment. These are pivotal moments in the "Stranger Things" timeline, especially what happens after one of the scientists goes rogue, steals some equipment and heads to a Nevada cave near where the Creel family lives.By chance, young Henry Creel is exploring the cave system when the scientist triggers a portal that transports them both to Dimension X for 12 hours.During that time, Henry is infected by the Mind-Flayer, which gives him his powers and also destroys his mind.
It's true: Henry didn't create a Mind Flayer or even control the beings that exist;it is the opposite.Henry was not born with psychic abilities, but was infected and driven mad by these powers.
Is the Stranger Things scene a good idea?
It seems absurd to make "The first Shadow" very important in Stranger Things season 5. Although it is good that the game is tied to the canon and the general story, it is crazy that there are many big revelations that happen in the show that many viewers do not see.because of acceptance.
We then reveal the Mind Flayer as the true evil instead of Henry/Vacna.This is a pivotal moment that turns Vicna's entire story on its head.Although "Stranger Things" resolves this in the final season, some lucky viewers in London have known about it for two years.
"The First Movie" is an amazing production with amazing VFX and creatures, but it's also a story that is important to the great experience of watching "Stranger Things".Given that Netflix produced the film, it's not out of the question that the streamer will end up recording the film and adding it to the platform.Hopefully, audiences everywhere will get to watch it someday, because it will change a lot from what we've been given in terms of Hawkins' world.
