Edmund Tapsoba showed off Burkina Faso in true Ratkusen style. They put Equatorial Guinea behind in the 85th minute of the first round. However, Jorge Minugu (Seattle Sounders) equalized in injury time (90+5) and Tapsoba scored the winning goal with a header (90+8). This was the fourth goal of the national team.
Group E, Thapsoba and Burkina Faso resume the live match between the Werkself professionals against Algeria's Ibrahim Maza on December 28 (kick-off: 18:30), before Sudan await New Year's Eve at 17:00.
