Arc Raiders recently went through its latest open beta - a server crash - ahead of its October 30 release, but it's been in development for quite some time. The game generated a lot of hype during that time, and the proximity of the previous beta to the first Marathon reveal certainly generated excitement around it. Players were able to compare and contrast both games and discovered that Marathon was missing.
Speaking to PC Gamer, Watkins expanded on his views on this moment and what it means for the team at Arc Attacks ARC to develop the training.
Watkins said, "It's a good thing they did at the same time we did. It's that I can try the decision and grow how much some of these things are fired."

The game is late from its September release, but will soon be played again in the new beta test, running from 22nd - 27th October.This will be the next marathon great opportunity to gain interest after it goes.
