Pokemon Itzali Al Da, Flay-B?
The review codes for Pokémon Legends: Z-A were posted less than a week ago, but I've already spent about 24 hours on them in the last five days.Over time, I caught every new species of Pokémon I could find, completed any side quests that came up, and stopped every now and then to completely change my outfit.I currently have a full team, all at level 50, and I can't wait to stop writing this review to play more.So far so good!
Oh, it feels good to say, uh...
There are a few reasons why I don't feel good about z's.In addition to the fact that we have not received it yet, we are publishing what we are actively promoting. We always try to avoid spoilers (and the latest time means that there are already many in the wild), but here we can't talk about what is happening in the first 10 minutes. We can't mention the take of other pokemon in Z-A, although most of them will go straight to another movie at any time.We can't show you a map of the small lumoses that occur in Z-a.It's hard to say how close I am to money in 24 hours, but I'll probably come back with a final review after the start soon.
We also didn't have a chance to test it on the Nintendo Switch 1 before, although I'm happy to report that Pokemon Legends: Z-A runs great on the Nintendo Switch 2.It runs at a smooth frame rate with very, very few hitches or hiccups. There are still some sudden pop-ins from NPCs from time to time, even those positioned close to the player, and here and there I've seen a character do the creepy thing where their head and neck suddenly snapped into place as I approached. But critically, unlike Scarlet and Violet, none of this was terribly distracting, nor did it really detract from the overall experience.Because of Scarlet and Violet, I spent the first 20 minutes checking to see if Z-A was okay. But then, after that, I hardly thought about it again, a mind I consider perfect. Here's hoping that's the case with the Switch 1 version, which I'll consider as part of my final review.
Running well is not the same in a game that is beautiful, of course, and no competitor wins. The city of Limuase is good. His buildings are covered with many flat images of the same pair of windows and contradictory designs. It will be closed, the effect is very different, like someone who painted a layoy door on a strong bar to hit inside. The same buildings are broken and Sometimes, it is important, is attached park, and the copy of the parakeet pub-installed about 100 times. There is a grayish underground system and empty water running into the sea, the ceilings are usually stopped by a single-sided cafe.
However, I think the reduced scale of the world worked in Game Freak's favor with Z-A compared to, say, Arceus or Scarlet and Violet. The town is smaller, so it's more packed with trainers, Pokemon, items, shops, and other interesting things to see and do.I'm not running around for minutes on huge fields of flat GameCube style textures without a single point of interest.in plain sight. As a result, as with Z-A, it was easy to stop thinking about designing a poor building quite early on.
It helps that the pairings with the character and Pokemon models look great, and the main character characters are more diverse than before. While almost every NPC you meet in the City is classified by training type and looks like a match, a freek can now not only make up facial features and skin tones, but also clothing items. We saw some of these in red and violet, but almost all of them were wearing school uniforms, so it was obvious. Now, you will see two sports coaches wearing different colored versions of some sports, or two artists wearing different colors.
A small connection as this sounds, with different faces that connect the originality with the heroes as well. There are tons of hairstyles, faces, and options to choose from, including some types of clothing (for example, different undershirts with different shirts). It's a new evolution that can be used a lot of Pokémon violet showing me the same four ugly things and a lot of elements.
Another element that I think makes Lumiose City rise above the vast world outside of Scarlet and Violet, is that it is full of sights, interesting items, obstacle courses, shops, wild areas, shops and people.Lumiose is round, with different roads extending from the center like the spokes of a wheel, all open to you within a few hours of starting your journey. If you want, you can clear the entire map very quickly, although it will not be interesting at first glance. But over time you will gradually discover new ways to get around and see new things when you get there: a new way of traveling that allows you to climb the roof to collect rare items above, new ways to access buildings and small corners of the city of Assassin's Creed that you couldn't access before, and new jungle areas for you to meet. This constant openness of a city that you always have the freedom to control adds to the familiarity of the new place you've been.
Prizes are awarded. While I criticize the red and violet for the same type of pokemon that shakes more than the map anywhere, each leads to the city of Lumise considering.a gardenSparkak watches you when you are not in the tree section. If you search, you can meet a rare type of dragon (Emborgo prevents me from talking about one and he has shown his research for the game); The tree floats above the drawing area;At one point, I turned around in time to see eevee sprint past the railroad, I quickly throw a pokeball to catch it.
I won't (and can't) spoil too much of the story, but what I can talk about is the interesting pacing it sets, which actually feels quite different from any other Pokémon game to date.Like Arceus, Z-A abandons the traditional 'collect eight marks' structure, but here they split their time between day and night - during the day you'll catch Pokemon in Wild Zones, battle rogue Mega Evolved Pokemon, take on goofy side quests for individuals around town, and shop and explore. At night, you have the opportunity to visit battle zones where you meet trainers, complete challenges to increase your score and finally get a Challenge Pass that unlocks your promotion match for the next level of “Z-A Royale”.There are 26 ranks in total, one for each letter of the alphabet.I'm currently ranked D, though I wish this was fleshed out a bit more as a proper competitive mode rather than just a story device - for example, you don't exactly spend a huge amount of time in each of the 26 character ranks.
I may talk about it in the final review and post my embargoed leftovers, but so far I'm really liking it.Having eight badge trainers like Arezai in the game allows the game to have deep, interesting characters, heroes, heroes and villains alike.Wherever you are, there are even more reasons for you to work together and take part in the events that change the world. Also, how many Zakuza/I know more about inspired dragon riders.Urban city, cautious city, absurd and crazy tones, community madness and civic issues and civic issues and the main characters, and the main characters are stronger than all people.
Which brings me to the meat and potatoes of any Pokémon game: swiping. With z-a, Pokémon played an action-packed game. Not a turn-based battle.Although I don't think I'd want Pokemon to completely leave and play forever, this works beautifully.Game Freak has done an interesting job of making its combat work in gym environments, especially in the very nice-looking living room setting. For a set period of time instead of "time," the spikes litter, well, scatter on the ground, forcing you to slow down your Pokémon.Long paths save Pokémon from harm, but take longer to reproduce and repair than short, dangerous paths.
There are a lot of new tactics and strategies to manipulate, such as how movement and dodging work. You can take direct control of your trainer and hold ZL to open the move selection menu, allowing you to send your active Pokémon into battle or guide them by having them follow you while avoiding them. This means calling my Pokemon back at me to avoid an attack and then setting it up for my opponent's next move before swinging again.Develop a strategy for ideal positioning, creating an exciting combat flow. The system can be a little weird at times, especially in closed spaces, but I'm eager to see what a competitive meta will look like in this format.
These strategies become more difficult and jump into boss battles with rogue mega mega pokémon, in Z-A there are many. All of these boxes take place in the same, wide, circular areas, but the Pokémon is in general. The raogue mega pokémon is the most beautiful z-answer of the brave pokémon bibing Arceémon Arceus. In addition to their normal moves, each one has a special ability that you must avoid, such as turning the field into a hellish hell that you must avoid, or suddenly appear in front of you to attack. As with Arceus, your trainer can get hit and die (sorry, I mean "Black") if they are constantly attacked by the enemy because the rogue is moving and will try directly.
The best way to go about this is to Mega evolve your pokemon or the use of "plus" Transfer, which is the Super Simple Version Makes the energy you need to mega.Unlike pokemon x and y, where you can fight poki evolved with old monsters, you really have to clan in z-a.Engage with mechanics.Even though it started to be interesting, z-alum quickly - even looking for every aspect, I still found that the boss battle would make me sweat.
Man, I'm going to try to keep this show going for a bit, and I still have a lot to do before my last review, but I'm very happy with what the monster has done.I really like Arceus and thought it was promising, but I'm very disappointed with the many setbacks I've seen from the studio in development, and I'm worried that the quality of the games for the 3D Pokemon Games won't drop.Legendary Pokemon: Z-A, at least for the twelve hours, really gets you scared. Not revolutionary for the grass, but very good!I enjoy it, I'm happy to play, I get rewards in every way, my mind listens to my mind, and I don't get distracted by the floor when I struggle with the floor or everything when I try to climb the stairs. If I keep the rest of my visits (and show 1 isn't a disaster), we can finally have a 3D game in the Pokemon franchise. It's dang time.
