"I'm very disappointed," the Apple co-founder said of AI.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was asked about the technology's 50th anniversary on Monday, April 1. Appearing on CNN, Wozniak reflected on how proud he is of Apple and what's going on.But when asked about the future and AI in particular, CNN gave an unexpected answer.

Woz said it seems like everyone is trying to "make a brain" using AI but everyone knows how to make a brain in a process that "takes nine months".The tech legend is clearly joking that the only way to get one right is to get people pregnant for nine months.

"I don't use AI that much, but I asked some questions to test," Wozniak said.

Woz continued, "It can be difficult to describe what is happening," but "I read things a lot and it seems so dry and so perfect, and I want something from someone, and I'm so sad."

The CNN host didn't chime in with Woz's negative approach, appearing to be engaging in pre-planned questions, perhaps suggesting he was more open to the idea of revolutionizing AI technology in a positive way.

"Do you think it will somehow be good and eventually replace humans?"asked the CNN host.

Wage replied that everything is better, but he added: "I have not seen any sign that we have understood well how the brain works to get to the point where it replaces humans; it has emotions; it cares about things; it wants to help others; it wants to be a good person."

"No, I don't see any signs of that yet," he continued."This is not to say that nothing can be achieved with technology.

Woz goes on to say that "one day you might be really smart" and that you might be able to "understand it like no other person would."But he explained that he "hasn't lived a human life," which he thinks is necessary to "understand what people go through sometimes to pick up those little nuances in the way you talk."
