According to a post on Charlie Intel X (formerly Twitter), the Battlefield 6 developer recently commented on the decrease in player count. They said that after the release of the trailer and roadmap, the development team is sitting in their chairs, biting their nails, "hoping as many players as possible come back to the game or check it out for the first time".
For those who don't know, Battlefield 6 got off to a great start upon release, hitting 500,000 concurrent players on Steam during its beta period and over 700,000 upon release, surpassing the likes of Duty in Progress. However, the situation is much different now, with games in recent days averaging between 50,000 and 70,000 players.By comparison, ARC Raiders It has averaged between 250,000 and 290,000 players over the past few days.
