Vizzotti and Nicolini meet in the UK with scientists from AstraZeneca and Oxford

Health Minister Carla Vizzotti and Presidential Adviser Cecilia Nicolini will hold meetings with scientists from AstraZeneca and Oxford University on Thursday to analyze strategies applied in producing vaccines against the coronavirus, measures against novel variants, and trials in children. and teenagers, as part of their UK tour.

“Tomorrow we expect more meetings with scientists from AstraZeneca and @UniofOxford, where we will analyze strategies applied in vaccine production, measures against novel variants, boosters and clinical trials in children and adolescents,” Nicolini said via his Twitter account.

On Wednesday, Nicolini and Vizzotti visited the research and development center of the AztraZeneca Laboratory in Cambridge, Great Britain, as part of their visit to that country to share experiences in the fight against the coronavirus.
