US Tourist Visa Application: Do It Like This

B2 visa application process

- Fill out the DS-160 form, you can find it at ceac.state.gov/genniv

- Pay your visa
You can schedule an interview from the website ais.usvisa-info.com/es-mx/niv. You just have to follow their steps, click on order:

And you will create an account on the site, register your data and then click on “Create an account”.
After that, the system will display a document so that you can pay for your visa. The value of the tourist visa is $160. In other words, at least in April 2023, it could cost you 2,887 pesos, depending on the dollar rate.
- Schedule your appointment
After that, you will be able to visit the Appointment Information System again. Make an appointment at your nearest consulate, especially if you are between the ages of 14 and 79, because in this age range it is imperative that you have an interview for your visa application. At these CAS centers, they will take your biometric data and conduct an interview to ensure that your reasons for visiting are valid.

After the specified time, when it’s time to go to your appointment, don’t forget to bring these important documents:
- A valid passport
- Confirmation of the printed DS-160 form
- Proof of your visa payment
