United Kingdom. New photograph of Boris Johnson released at another social event under antiCovid restrictions
London.- The British tabloid “The Mirror” today released a new photo of the prime minister, Boris Johnson, in an apparent social event held in December 2020, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, in which an open bottle of champagne and a bag of chips are clearly visible.
The image shows Johnson and two collaborators at the Executive’s Downing Street headquarters, one of them wearing a Hawaiian-style necklace (garland), and the other wearing a Santa Claus hat during a trivia contest in an office.

During the weekly session of questions to the prime minister held today in the House of Commons (lower) of the British Parliament, Labour MP Fabian Hamilton asked Johnson for explanations about that photograph, taken on 15 December 2020.
At that time, the restrictions in force prohibited any social gathering between people from different households.
This event does not appear in the dossier of social events convened in government offices and in Johnson’s official office during the confinement of the last two years that is currently being investigated by the London Metropolitan Police.
