Saga Cruises completes its first cruise in the United Kingdom since 2020

Saga Cruises Resumed cruises in the United Kingdom from March 2020 with departures from Puerto de Tilbury del Spirit of Discovery.

Saga Cruises CEO Nigel Blanksstated that “Our guests are very excited to be back on the cruise again and our crew members are looking forward to providing them with an incredible experience on board. We have a great itinerary, which includes some of the best in the western country. Includes impressive stretches. There is no better place than the sea to see our beautiful beach.”

Spirit of Discovery has 10 passenger decks that offer 554 balcony cabins, including 109 individual balcony cabins. It has five restaurants, including The Grand Dining Room, The Grill, Coast to Coast (seafood specialties), East to West (Asian fusion) and The Club by Jules (steakhouse), all of which complement dinner .

The South Cape Bar is the ship’s main bar, and the lounge offers coffee and snacks as well as full beverage service. Outdoor amenities include an observation deck, wraparound deck and walkway, swimming pool, sports court, and game deck.

Recreation and fitness facilities include The Playhouse (a 444-seat theater with no full seating, home to Saga Cruises’ resident performance company), Britannia Lounge with dance floor and live entertainment, library with refreshments, craft room and Card game, The Library. Spa with swimming pool, sauna, steam and treatment room, salon, gym, shop and medical center.
