Olmos and Krausek advance to the quarter-finals at the 2021 Monterey Open
On the right foot, tennis player Mazatlan Juliana Olmos started her participation in the doubles category, in the 2021 GNP Seguros Monterrey Open, which is being held in Nuevo León.
Juliana Olmos participated with the American Desirae Krawczyk, and she managed with her to achieve her first victory in this competition to advance to the quarter-finals.
In their first game of the tournament, the Olmos and Krausek duo defeated Maria Sanchez of the United States and Fanny Stollar of Hungary 6-3 6-2.
During this meeting, both spouses took to the field to show their best level with the batsman, starring in a duel full of intensity from start to finish, with Olmos and Krausek who eventually managed to emerge victorious.
For the first set, things started with a ruthless attacking by Sanchez and Stoller, taking advantage of the board, but that was short-lived, as Olmos and Krausek managed to catch up and drew 3-3.
Later, dumbbells were implanted in North America with a larger design behind the net, to turn things around and secure the result in their favor.
Already in the second set, Juliana and Desiray began with a fierce attack, quickly putting themselves on the scoreboard against their rivals, and thus they were able to preserve the match, match and match, as well as move on to the next round.
In the quarter-final match, the duo will face Juliana Olmos and Dezira Krausek duo Heather Watson from UK and Cisa Zheng from China.
