IKEA Creative: a new app to see how your furniture looks in your home
Ikea has a new iPhone app It uses artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) so you can replace your existing furniture with something new from their catalog.
This isn’t the first time that the Swedish furniture brand has allowed its products to be previewed through augmented reality, but new is coming because now a customer can delete their furniture from the photo to place the new items in the space.
IKEA Creative It also allows you to place several items at the same time to imagine what your home would look like with a complete makeover based on the popular and cheap catalog of A company founded by Ingvar Kamprad.
This was the first IKEA store to open in Sweden over 60 years ago
as posted TkradarThis is possible thanks to the LiDAR scanners that are part of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max program, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max And the iPad Pro 11.
Although it is also possible to take pictures yourself instead of using the scanner that digitally copies the room, the Ikea app processes the image directly to create a wide-angle view. You can place and remove the furniture as you like to see if it matches your style and space.
Forget about having to measure the width of the wall to see if the four-seat sofa you loved fits or if there’s enough room to fit the table you saw in the store. Although, well, it doesn’t hurt to be sure.
So far, Ikea Kreativ is only available in the USHowever, the company plans to launch the product in other regions later.
