Game Award Winners: Complete 2020 List

The coronovirus epidemic may have affected the way live events are held, but this year’s Sports Awards are still ongoing.

The 2020 ceremony is broadcast live from Los Angeles, London and Tokyo from three-studio, audience-less locations. Speaking to Variety in September, Host Geoff Keighley, said they “wouldn’t normally be able to live three cities” – which prompted the idea in a big way.

“This is a unique year of circumstances, so let’s try. I think it sends a really great message, and I think this is what I want to do more, ”he said.

The show will feature musical appearances by Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder and the London Philharmonic Orchestra and appearances by special guests including Brie Larson, Christopher Nolan, Gal Gadot, Jacksepticke, John David Washington, Joseph Ferres, Keanu Reeves, Nolan North, Reggae Films . Aime, Stephen A. Smith, Tom Holland and Troy Baker.

Apart from musical performances, celebrity looks and special segments, the show will also have special announcements, as in previous years. Expect others from “Between Us,” “Call of Duty,” “Dragon Age” and “Crimson Desert”.

Naughty Dog’s hit sequel “The Last of Us Part II” leads the nomination with 10. Behind are the “Heads” of Supergiant Games with eight and the “Ghost of Tsushima” of Saqqara Punch with seven. All three are up for game of the year; Other nominees for the top award are Nintendo’s “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” ID Software’s “Doom Eternal” and Square Enix’s “Final Fantasy VII Remake”.
