Ford is working in coordination with European delivery company Hermes to test a permanent courier service that can reduce the impact of parcel delivery with an innovative approach designed to help save the environment.

Through Ford’s Intelligent MoDe: Link software, delivery vans are coordinated with courier teams, allowing operators to identify safe locations for the station at a close distance from the delivery address, so that travel from that location, Let’s have the last leg on foot.
