Caballero installs the Committee on Education, Culture, Libraries and Science

– Announcement by the Mayor of Montserrat Caballero that a diagnosis of the conditions of schools has been completed before the next return to classes

TIJUANA – Facing the announcement of setting work schedules to analyze the feasibility of returning to the classroom in mixed ways head-on, Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez has officially installed the Commission on Education, Culture, Libraries, Science and Technology headed by Chancellor Miriam Patricia Echeverria Gastelum.

Caballero Ramirez stressed that, without a doubt, the Chancellor will guide professionally, but above all with love, a committee who will support her with everything necessary so that the results of the work carried out in a coordinated manner are fruitful.

The mayor proposed to the mayor, as well as to the chief secretary for public education in the municipality (SEPM), Andrea Ruiz Galán, to identify working groups as soon as possible to prepare a diagnosis of school conditions in the event of a possible return to direct lessons announced by the federal government in recent days.

“Let us strive to ensure the working conditions of educational centers, libraries and cultural places of interest, above all, to the health and safety of students and teachers, and to achieve real and lasting progress in the process of educating children and young people in the city,” stressed the council member.

The chancellor, accompanied by the guardian, Rafael Leyva Perez, also announced that it will seek to improve the development of organizational projects, with the aim of strengthening the municipal education system, while proposing public policies to strengthen the security and protection of schools.

To his fellow members of the Commission, made up of Edgar Velázquez Montel as Secretary, José Refugio Cañada Garcia, Marisol Hernández Sotelo and Georgina Erendira Arana Cruz as members, invite them to act in a coordinated and harmonious manner to promote and care for libraries, as well as to propagate and defend values, seeking to educate not only science , but consciously.
