What’s it about and why is everyone talking about the “super hidden mode” in WhatsApp – Enseñame de Ciencia
Recently a WhatsApp trick that went viral calls it “super hidden mode”, as it suggests that they will remain invisible in this app. It must be clarified that there is no “super invisible mode”, but to configure it you have to resort to some tools offered by WhatsApp and an additional trick. The good thing is that you can actually go unnoticed and be on WhatsApp without anyone noticing, then I will tell you how to do it without using an external app.
How to activate ‘super stealth mode’ in WhatsApp
As we mentioned at the beginning, there are a number of tools that we should take advantage of. Now WhatsApp has different options that you can choose to protect your privacy. We go through each one and you will choose which choices to make according to your preferences.
1. Make your name blank in WhatsApp to be invisible in groups
- Open WhatsApp
- On the main Chats screen, open Settings. On Android it is found by pressing the 3 dots at the top right
- Click on your profile
- Then tap on the edit pen to change your name
- This is where the most important part comes in: delete your name and copy the blank character you see below, enclosed in square brackets: [ㅤ]
- Paste this blank letter where your name is. You should only copy and paste the character inside the parenthesis, not the parenthesis
- Now you can click save.

2. Hide your last online time: Disable your Online and Last Seen time

- Open Settings by pressing > “Settings”.
- Go to your …… Privacy (block contacts, temporary messages).
- Once you are in, go to > “Privacy”.
- Locate and enter where it says > “Last time once and online.

3. Read messages without noticing

- Open Settings by pressing > “Settings”.
- Go to your …… Privacy (Block temporary contacts and messages).
- Once you are in, go to > “Privacy”.
- Locate and enter where it says > “Read notice” and disable it.
4. Choose who you want to view status updates for
- Open WhatsApp > Click on STATUS.
- Click on one of the following options:
- Text icon to write status update. You can tap the emoji icon to add an emoji or GIF, the T icon to choose a font, or the color icon to select a background color.
- Camera or My status icon to take a photo, video, or GIF. You can also choose an existing photo, video, or GIF from the picker. You can also add a comment or edit the photo, video, or GIF.
- Before sending, tap on the bottom where it says “Status (contacts)” and configure who can see your status updates.
- Click on the send icon.
5. Hide “Write”. In this case, you simply have to disconnect from the internet when typing and click submit. Obviously, the message will not be sent, but it will be saved and will be sent automatically when you are online again.
