“Iron Man” wears a suit in Malaga – MoreSport

JetSuit, the suit that allows the wearer to soar through propellers in the arms and realizes the long-awaited dream of being able to fly like the superhero Iron Man himself, was a sensation this Saturday at Málaga’s Vélez Airport.
The functionality of this stunning suit, developed by Gravity Industries and its inventor founder Richard Browning, was spotted on an exhibition trip that left more than 300 people gathered to see what seemed unthinkable: seeing a man fly.
The suit, which regulators describe as the world’s most advanced in human propulsion – can reach up to 136 kilometers per hour and is strapped to the back like a backpack that can weigh 25 kilograms, or 30 if loaded with fuel that uses the same fuel uses as a commercial airliner.
For altitude, it uses four thrusts, two in each hand, with turbines expelling air and making deafening noises in the environment that forces Browning, the suit’s wearer and inventor, to wear earplugs that reduce the strong sound produced by the suit and this has children and adults cover their ears during the flight.
This exhibition was held at the experimental school “Academy of Aerodynamics” in Vélez-Málaga on the occasion of the sixth edition of the International Torre del Mar Aviation Festival, to be held on Sunday, and for the first time in its history. Includes the lawsuit post devised by Browning.
Malaga also took advantage of the media’s invitation to exhibit this innovative suit to announce that the academy would provide training from Gravity Industries and would become the third in the world to offer it, since there are two in the UK and the US.
The Aerodynamics Academy’s general manager, Carlos Cobos, told Efe that this JetSuit exhibit is the first to be held in Spain and highlights that the suit, which is 5-8 minutes long, can reach the first height. Although, for safety reasons, it usually flies at a height of about 10 meters.
The suit, Cobos stated, is already used at the military level by the British Marines for search and rescue and rescue.
The spokesman for “Gravity Industries” Fernando Mendoza Puccini, pointed out that the flying device contains turbines like that of the aircraft allowing it to fly infinitely in a very intuitive and natural way as if it were operating in the air, which made some armies interested in them.
Like Tony Stark, the Marvel comic and movie character who hides under his Iron Man suit, Richard Browning was the star of the action and never stopped taking pictures with families while he wore his colorful and heavy suit. Fly like a super hero.
