The debate about the decriminalization of abortion has become a controversial issue in Colombian society, among citizens and organizations in general.
Ultimately, the Constitutional Court decided to decriminalize abortion in Colombia until the 24th week of pregnancy, after a 5-4 vote following a lawsuit brought by the Just Cause movement.
After this decision, one of the celebrities who expressed her opinion on the matter was the former queen and model Taliana Vargas, who is exactly six months pregnant.

This post caused her trend on Twitter after mixed reviews arose about her opinion. Critics questioned her noting that she speaks from a privileged position and does not take into account other situations. Among those voices was Amaranta Hank’s voice.
