An Aboriginal young man in Zoe carried his elderly father on his back for six hours to take him to receive his coronavirus vaccine.
The feat, which occurred in 2021, went viral last week after doctor Eric Jennings posted it on his Instagram account. Jennings works on an original health and neurosurgery project in the Amazon region.

According to Jennings, the indigenous community of Zoe, a small and isolated town that lives deep in the Amazon rainforest in northern Brazil, did not report a case of coronavirus until 2022.
