The 10th Latin American Congress of Science and Religion begins
“The Authenticity and Fragility of Life on Planet Earth” is the theme of the 10th Latin American Conference on Science and Religion, which will be held in Cordoba until Friday.
With a focus on life, its authenticity and fragility on planet Earth, from September 15 to 17, the 10th Latin American Congress of Science and Religion will be held in Cordoba, within the framework of creation time.
Sponsored by the Argentine Catholic University (UCA), the Archdiocese of Córdoba, the Pontifical Council for Culture, the Deplay and the Argentinean Theological Association, among other institutions, the conference has a hybrid method (virtual face-to-face) and will have three meetings with a daily theme.
“The authenticity of life” is the main topic for Wednesday, September 15th, with speakers such as Dr. Lucio Florio, Dr. As for the second day, Thursday 16, it will be the topic of “Dialogue between Science and Religion”. The third is entitled “The Fragility of Life” with the participation of Dr. Pablo Kenziani and others. See the full program here.
“A profound study of man as a whole, in his relationship with himself, with others, with society, with the universe and with God, through careful discernment of the signs of the times, in a world in constant transformation,” explain the organizers.
Researchers, teachers, and students of the scientific, philosophical, theological, humanistic, legal and economic professions participate; and the general public interested in the subject. Its purpose is to concern life “and the dangers involved in continuing to produce irreversible processes in the biosphere, which radically alter its dynamic equilibrium, and even threaten human subsistence.”
