Timothee Chalamet won the 2026 Critics' Choice Awards for Best Actor, taking time to thank a few people, including his girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Timothée Chalamet scored his first win of the 2026 awards season, taking home the award for Best Actor at the 2026 Critics' Choice Awards.
The 30-year-old Marty Supreme star looked surprised when her name was called, leaning in to kiss girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
The actor has opened up about his desire for recognition in this role and carried it in his award speech."I have a lot of people to thank. I don't know if I'll be here again, so give me a second," Chalamet told the gathered crowd as he took the list of thanks.
Chalamet was visibly shaken by the victory, stumbling several times over his words."Damn, I'm more scared than I thought I would be," he said, correcting his mistake.
The actor thanked his fellow nominees, singling out Michael B. Jordan in particular."Michael, wonderful. Just watched Sinners. [I] hadn't seen the post-credits scene. I'm glad I stayed for the second time."
He also thanked Marty senior director Josh Safdie for "creating the role and the story" for him."You write a story about a dream, you don't preach to the audience about what's right or wrong," he says.I think you all need to tell stories like this, so thank you for the dream."
It's no surprise that Chalamet expressed his gratitude to his longtime girlfriend Kylie Jenner, considering they've been attending more and more events together, but the cameras were on her while Chalamet spoke."Thank you for being my partner for three years. Thank you to our foundation," he said."I love you. I couldn't do this without you."
The couple did not attend before the carpet on Sunday, arriving after the show had started.Hacks' Paul W. Downs and Meg Stalter were the talk of the night thanks to their outfits, which were a match for Chalamet and Jenner's look at the Marty Supreme Law premiere.
