TikTok’s short video format will come to Facebook

Instagram Reels will appear in the News section for Facebook users, in the same format that these contents have already been on Instagram since August 2020.
The social network Facebook will start showing Reels to its first-time users, short music videos inspired by the TikTok platform that was already on Instagram, although at the moment it is only testing in India with some specific creators.
Instagram confirmed, it also collects Bloomberg, Which will give a small number of Indian content creators the option to share their Reels format short video posts on Facebook as part of a new quiz.

Facebook launched this functionality in India, a country in June of last year that banned TikTok and 58 other Chinese apps, including also some from the technology manufacturer Xiaomi.
