Inspira Tech 2021 expands the call for women with achievement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines: science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Applications are open until October 4th.
With the aim of promoting women’s participation in technology, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Small Business has launched a call for participation in the InspiraTEC Award 2021. The initiative – created in 2016 – seeks to recognize the inventions of women entrepreneurs in the field of science and technology.
For this version, InspiraTEC expanded its advocacy, inviting outstanding women from all STEM disciplines – STEM – to further highlight the contribution of gender to innovation and promote women’s entrepreneurship and job creation.
For this purpose, the objectives of the award have been reformulated, incorporating women entrepreneurs in these disciplines that have a positive impact on the economy, through the creation of innovative products or services, or changes in markets.
“We want to inspire that every day more women are making the leap into STEM fields where they have a low presence today. We have to work so that all talents, with the necessary tools, become ideas for the advancement of society. Thanks to applicants who join year after year To InspiraTEC are that tremendous ideas and innovations have been able to grow, not only in Chile, but also in the world”, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy Julio Bertoseh confirmed in a press release.
