The Telegraph commented that the threats from the countries on the list could be explained as follows: the presence of spies and the military on alert, and the launch of cyberattacks and propaganda campaigns. Hinds said the fourth country on his list could be North Korea. In turn, the head of the British Intelligence Service (MI6), Richard Moore, stated that the United Kingdom sees serious threats coming from Russia, and that London “will do its best to prevent and deny all threats coming from Moscow.” “Russia has said on more than one occasion that it does not threaten anyone or intends to attack anyone, and the statement about “Russian aggression” makes it easier for NATO to build more military equipment near Russian borders. MOSCOW (Sputnik) – British Home Secretary Damien Hinds sees China, Russia and Iran as enemies of the United Kingdom, as he said in an interview with The Telegraph newspaper.
“The three countries mentioned have human potential, stand out for their great presence and can start information operations…”, the minister said.
The Telegraph commented that the threats allegedly emanating from the countries on the list could be explained as follows: the vigilant presence of spies and the military, and the launch of cyberattacks and propaganda campaigns.
Hinds said the fourth country on his list could be North Korea.
In return, Richard Moore, the head of the British Intelligence Service (MI6), said that the United Kingdom sees serious threats coming from Russia, and that London will do its best to “prevent and address the full spectrum of threats emanating from Moscow”.
Russia has said on more than one occasion that does not threaten or intend to attack anyone, and that the statement about “Russian aggression” is an excuse for NATO to deploy more military equipment near Russian borders.
