“WHO is this shadowy Al-Razel Abula?” enquired Engineer Leonor Lagsaca from Iloilo City. The column “Mindset of Abuse” (PDI/30 July) mentions Al-Razel Abula in passing. With two companions, Abula encashed 41 percent of checks from Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao public works office.

Stroke: common yet unrecognized

PATRICIA NEAL suffered a series of near-fatal strokes in 1965. Though pregnant at the time of the first stroke, she bore a normal child. She resumed her acting career in 1968 and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her electrifying performance in The Subject Was Roses. Quite a feat!

IF I WERE Henry Sy Sr., I would order my men to abandon the plan to acquire the lot behind the Negros Occidental provincial capitol and proceed to buy Iloilo City’s botched housing project site.

At 6.9 hectares, the project site is not that small compared to Negros Occidental’s property which is 7.7 hectares.
