TEN players from United States arrived in Bacolod City early this week for a series of exhibition games against Negrense cagers this weekend.
The Embrace and Reach International team will hold basketball exhibition games at the STI-West Negros University.
The US-based squad is comprised of players mostly from the National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are Tevin Howell (Porterville College), Daniel Gunther (Pacific University), Ty Peacock (Notre Dame), Jason Silsdorf and Davion Mize from Sonoma State University, Derek King (University of California-Berkeley), Ja’Vonte Wills (Bethesda Christian University), Will Pryor (University of the Most High), Luke Williams (University of California-Chico), and Randy Cruzes (University of San Francisco).
The visiting team will first play against the 2018 Negros Basketball Association champions Silvergraces/University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos before taking on the 2017 NOPSSCEA champions Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias Titans.
The highlight of the game will be on July 14, 2018 where they will face STI-West Negros University Singcang Destroyers who ruled the 2nd Cong. Greg Gasataya Basketball League.
All games will start at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.
The event is part of the Philippine Mission Tour 2018 in partnership with the Congressional District Office of Bacolod Lone District Rep. Gasataya.
