THE Philippine softball team represented by Negros Occidental will be heading to the US Embassy in Manila on July 19, 2017 for visa verification interviews in preparation for the 2017 Senior League Softball World Series in Lower Sussex, Delaware, USA from July 30 to August 6.
According to coach Antonio Oquindo Jr. the team will stay at the Rizal Memorial Stadium to undergo further preparation.
“We might arrange more tune-up games with Manila-based collegiate teams to boost our preparation,” Oquindo added.
On the other hand, the Philippine little league softball team from the Education and Training Center School is also set to compete in the Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon in the United States from August 9 to 16.
