Don Bosco dominates 5th Sinigayan football

DON BOSCO Technical Institute ruled the 5th Sinigayan 7-a-side Football Festival at the Sagay National High School (SNHS) football field, March 11, 2018.

The team from Victorias City won the Mix 10 and U-16 boys divisions during the championship games over the weekend.

Mentored by Raymand Baldava, the Don Bosco players defeated 10 competing teams in the Mix 10 division – Alfredo Marañon Elementary School, Old Sagay FC A and B, Classico de San Carlos A and B, Victorias FC, B. Puey Elementary School, and Sagay FC.

CNN Dolphins FC and Trinity FC settled for first and second runners-up, respectively.

Don Bosco also ruled the Boys 16 with Negros First A and B settling for the runners-up honors.

The other teams in the U-16 category are Old Sagay FC A and B, Sagay FC, Escalante A and B, Villa Angela FC A and B, ELMIS F, PPFACC-Cadiz City, Bulanon, Erbugs and Bata Tigers.

In the Boys 13, Villa Angela A pocketed the title after surviving 15 other contenders.

Living Stone International School (LSIS) also snatched the Girls 18 division.

In the Men’s 35 and Up, Tokhang Team B outplayed Silay FC and Escalante A to bag the championship crown.
