The province of Bohol is set to host the 2018 National Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) meet from Apr. 22-27.
The week-long competition will open at the Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex in Tagbilaran, Bohol.
The games include baseball, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, football, sepaktakraw and softball, (individual sports) athletics, badminton, boxing, chess, dance sports, karate-do, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, and tennis.
Aside from games, different regions will try to outperform each other in both academic and cultural competitions, including the Mutya ng PRISAA competition.
With few weeks left before the national event, the provincial government of Bohol guaranteed all delegates of tight security when they arrived to their province.
Moreover, on Apr. 19-21, series of seminars and training of technical and officiating officials will happen at the Holy Name University. The PRISAA National Board of Trustees and Officers Meeting and PRISAA 2018 National Games Press Conference will kick off on April 21 at the Metro Centre Hotel and Convention Center.
To recall, last year, Iba, Zambales hosted the annual games on Feb. 23-28, wherein Region VII emerged as overall champion. Before Bohol takes charge of hosting, provinces of Pampanga, Cebu, Iloilo, and National Capital Region (NCR) also hosted the event.
