THE Daily Guardian celebrated another year of successes through a Thanksgiving & Christmas Party on Dec 16, 2017, at one of Iloilo City’s newest luxury hotels, Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in City Proper.
Lemuel T. Fernandez, TDG publisher, recognized the contributions of TDG employees and partners in both public and private sectors to the very productive and fruitful year.
“Thank you to our partners – for your support and trust,” Fernandez said. He assured TDG partners of continued commitment to fair reporting, stressing the company’s adherence to integrity and excellence.
The big boss also stressed the important role of TDG as a community paper to keeping the Ilonggo and the rest of Western Visayas communities well-informed of the issues affecting them.
With this goal in mind, the dynamic publisher disclosed that 2017 is another milestone for the 16-year-old company.
“We procured a CTP (computer-to-plate) machine that is expected to further boost the circulation of The Daily Guardian,” he stressed.
TDG editor-in-chief Francis Allan L. Angelo lauded the hard work and commitment of every department to their respective responsibilities.
“Each of us plays very important roles in ensuring that our subscribers, advertisers, and news consumers get copies of the newspaper the following morning,” he stressed.
