Isuzu treats Ilonggos to a 4×4 Xtreme Xperience

TOP VEHICLE brand Isuzu has brought the second leg of its 4×4 Xtreme Xperience to the City of Love.

From Sept 21 to 23, Isuzu Philippines Corporation is showcasing the power of both the D-Max and the mu-X at the Festive Walk Mall, Iloilo Business Park.

Isuzu Philippines Corporation President Hajime Koso said that after the successful leg in Cebu, the company is bringing the excitement to Iloilo.

“Customers will experience the power and functionality of our 4×4 3.0-liter D-Max as it climbs up and down a two-storey-high steep narrow metal ramp,” Koso told the Iloilo media and bloggers.

The highlight of the event is the unique 4×4 action ramp which was set up to showcase the capability of the D-Max and the mu-X.

Onlookers will also have the chance to catch a ride and experience the feat inside the vehicles.



Another highlight of the event is the test drive of the RZ4E engine which is fuel efficient.

Last Sept 16, Koso said they conducted a fun eco drive participated by customers using the 2018 mu-X 4×2 LS-A variants with RZ4E engine around Iloilo City with a total distance of 54 kilometers.

“Despite the traffic condition, we have once again proven the astounding fuel efficiency of our RZ4E vehicle models by achieving as high as 18.77km/L,” he said.

Ivan I. Arriola, Isuzu Iloilo sales manager said that in terms of fuel efficiency, Isuzu is the top brand.

“Isuzu is known for its 3.0 liter engine. But now we have come up with this 1.9 liter engine that is fuel efficient,” he told The Daily Guardian.

Arriola noted that the brand has received a very good following from Ilonggos over the years.

Last year, they sold an average of 130 units monthly.

“We have a very good response from Ilonggos. When it comes to diesel engine and fuel efficiency, Isuzu is the number one brand,” he said.



Koso said the Isuzu 4×4 Xtreme Xperience has been expanded to include more fun and engaging events for everyone.

Other fun activities during the three-day event include the hiphop battle and performance by Dinagyang Festival’s Tribu Panayanon on Sept 21. Fans of Maja Salvador got a glimpse of the actress-performer at 6 p.m.

On the second day, there were poster-making contest, zumba, and performance of First Edition Band.

Capping off the last day are the magic show for kids, McDonalds Part, mu-X OP meetup, and performance from rapper Gloc 9.

Car buff can feast on a day-long activities like drift carts, games, kid sections, and custom car displays.

Another exciting activity is the chance to accessorize one’s Isuzu vehicle. Parts, accessories, and premium items will be on display.

“Isuzu enthusiasts will have a chance to view the accessorized versions of the Isuzu D-Max and mu-X and to test drive the mu-X powered by the RZ4E engineer,” he said.

The three-day event is open to the public for free from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
