Marriott Iloilo launches its outside catering services

In a city filled with high-end hotels and building, Courtyard by Marriott-Iloilo has maintained a name in the hotel industry shortly a year after it was opened.

Now, it continues to maintain its outstanding performance by offering more services outside Marriott.

This time, they are taking their excellent services right outside the doorsteps of the hotel through Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo Outside Catering.

With a minimum of at least 50 guests, you can now book Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo’s service that includes food, servers, tables and chairs and an inclusion of basic decors depending on arrangement.

On March 12, 2019 right at the heart of the Iloilo Business Park, an exquisite fine dining event was organized by Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo to launch its official outside catering services.

The Plaza Martin Delgado just in front of Casa Emperador became an alluring display of class and glamour after two long tables were dressed in white linen and decorated with dainty. Immaculate floral plumages were positioned in the center to cater to the guests and visitors.

Ms. Cleofe Albiso, general manager of Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo broke the news to the excited guests and shared the story of how the demand for outside catering commenced.

“Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo now provides patrons with exquisite outside catering services for events conducted in the guest’s choice of venue. Before, two clients competed for one event date and venue, they were the ones who created the first demand for outside catering,” she said.

The guests were also up for a special treat with various high-end dishes prepared.

Carefully and meticulously prepared by the talented kitchen team, parading waiters served each dish for every course.

The first opening dish was a marinated salmon with spicy orange salad and curry cracker for the amuse bouche.

The salad was light yet filling with the seared US scallops with wasabi cream sweet mango salsa and green pickle.

For soup, everyone enjoyed a bowl of the seafood bisque, Cajun shrimp and lemon mixed with green salad and parsley cream cheese.

The evening’s highlight was roasted beef tenderloin with cheese basil potato truffle mushroom sauce and calamansi bearmaise sauce, which everyone enjoyed.

 And for dessert, the saffron pana cotta with apricot puree, pistachio praline, and meringues left joy and delight to the guests.

With the newly added service, one can truly say that there is always more to Marriott Iloilo.
