Low-cost housing developer 8990 Housing Development Corporation recently launched two townships in Panay and Negros Occidental – the Deca Homes Sta. Barbara in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo and Deca Homes South Bacolod in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
In separate ceremonies, 8890 and Deca Homes executives led by Deca Homes assistant general manager for Iloilo Glenn Romanillos and host local government officials led the groundbreaking for the two projects.
Deca Homes Sta. Barbara is located at Barangays Balabag and Jibao-an. Deca Homes Sta. Barbara Phases 4, 5, 6 & 7 (socialized housing) occupy a total land area of 73.80 hectares, with 10,187 units for Socialized Housing. The proposed size for each unit is 35 square meter, and the proposed floor area is 21.70 square meter.
Deca Homes South Bacolod, on the other hand, spans a total land area of 57 hectares, of which, 52 hectares are up for development located at Brgy. Cabug.
The property developer plans to build 7,065 units in the Bacolod township. There are two house models available for Deca Homes South Bacolod – a socialized housing model with 22 square meters floor area (4,153 units available) and single storey duplex (2,912 units).
