A FASHION brand from Japan is bringing its wide array of branded but affordable items to Iloilo.

Miniso opened its 19th store in the Philippines and the first in the Visayas at SM City Iloilo on May 4, 2017.

Joyce V. Salvacion, assistant vice president for operations said the store stays true to its meaning which is “simple living.”

The store carries a variety of items ranging from cosmetics, digital items, school supplies, accessories, and kitchenware, among others.

“We maintain the basic things in life. And if you see all our items are basic – the reason why you get and get and buy and shop,” she said.

They offer cosmetic products with a price base of P99 which cost P600 in other stores.

Unlike other Japanese stores which carry mix brands, Salvacion said all their items are branded only as Miniso.

She added that they change some of their items weekly and add more assortments.

Miniso is a retail affiliate of SM, the reason for them extending their reach in the city.

“We are prioritizing all the major malls first before we open at the other secondary malls. And Iloilo is considered as one of the main malls of SM,” she said.

It opened its second store in the Visayas at SM City Bacolod on May 5.
