BACOLOD City – President Rodrigo Duterte again issued a warning to local chief executives who are involved in illegal drugs that he will not hesitate to kill them.

Duterte was here Friday at the PDP-Laban campaign rally of administration senatorial candidates in Victorias City.

He arrived at around 8 p.m.

Duterte made the warning as the Department of Interior and Local Government is set to reveal this week the names of 83 narco-politicians.

The president said he first warned the local chief executives during a closed-door meeting with mayors in Malacañang several months ago.

Duterte said he repeated the warning in another closed-door meeting with the governors. He called on them not to extend help, or protect those engaged in illegal drugs, while admitting that the problem is running out of control.

He also said  that he is prepared to land in jail, for his latest threat to kill fugitive drug suspect Peter Lim, who has lavish houses in Canada, the Bahamas and Hong Kong, and enjoying a lavish lifestyle.

“Peter Lim, kapag nakita kita maski saan papatayin kita, and I will go to jail (Peter Lim, if I see you anywhere I will kill you and I will go to jail),” Duterte said.

Duterte also said that he has no intention to legalize the use of marijuana for medical purposes.
