BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) spearheaded a bloodletting activity on Feb 12, 2018 at the Kanlaon Hall of Camp Alfredo Montelibano Jr.
A report from the NOCPPO’s Public Information Office (PIO) said a total of 109 participants were qualified to donate blood during the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) Annual Bloodletting Program.
The program was spearheaded by the Police Community Affairs Unit (PACU) led by Supt Lea Rose B Peña under the supervision of Senior Supt. Rodolfo Castil Jr., NOCPPO director, in partnership with the Negros First Provincial Blood Center and Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Hospital.
The report added that 251 participants from different Universities/State Colleges (Criminology Students), PNP personnel (City/Municipal Police Station), and force multipliers of Negros Occidental province joined the said activity wherein 109 were qualified to donate blood.
“Anyone can be a hero, by donating blood you can save lives,” Castil said.
