A WOMAN accused of qualified theft was arrested Jan. 27 on Ledesma Street City Proper, Iloilo City.

Glaidel Algoy, also known as Glaiza Ariego, 18 of Hinoba-an City, Negros Occidental, allegedly stole more or less P200,000 cash from her former employer.

Officers of the Iloilo City Police Station 1 arrested Algoy on orders of the Regional Trial Court.

No bail was recommended for her temporary liberty.

The suspect admitted to have taken the money but did not disclose where she spent it.

According to police, they have no recourse but to put Algoy in jail unless she could ask the court to allow her to post bail.

Algoy is listed on the top 5 of the most wanted person in City Proper district. She is now detained at the Iloilo City police station 1.
