POLICE arrested a woman suspected of pushing illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in New Poblacion, Buenavista, Guimaras, Mar. 5, 2016.

Anti-illegal drug operatives of the Guimaras Police Provincial Police Office anti-illegal drugs group and the Buenavista Municipal Police Station nabbed Juliet Bedeo, 42, of Buenavista.

According to the Guimaras police, Bedeo is one of the alleged sources of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu in the town.

“Bedeo sell shabu in Buenavista but only in small amounts. When the desired amount is more, she allegedly prefers transacting in other turf because she is more confident that she won’t get caught,” a police source said.

Five more plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and the P500 marked money used by the undercover policeman were recovered from the suspect’s possession.

Bedeo is currently detained at the Buenavista police station and will face charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
