With 5,030 respondents, 1.4% margin of error, and a 95% level of confidence, the RACI survey done March 26 to April 3, 2019 showed Biron leading by 60,000 votes approximately.
The survey used the Multi-Stage Probability Sampling in selecting the respondents from 405 barangays in Iloilo province. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews with the respondents.
The respondents are residents who are at least 18 years old and registered voters of the province of Iloilo.
The latest survey indicated that Biron got the nod of 51.7 percent of the respondents, up by 4.5 percent from the Dec 8 – 14, 2018 survey also conducted by RACI.
Biron’s rival, Rep. Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr., got 45.9 percent of respondents, a 5.6 percent drop from the 51.5 percent share he scored in the December 2018 survey.
