LaPaz inside job?

THE early morning robbery of a Muslim trader in LaPaz, Iloilo City could be a case of inside job, LaPaz police said.
S/Insp. Alexander Rosales, LaPaz police chief, said Hadja Aida Maissa, a native of Lanao del Sur but temporarily residing in a boarding house at Brgy. Railway, LaPaz lost more than P450,000 worth of jewelry and P8,000 cash.
Rosales said the items were contained in a bag which Maissa hid under her pillow before sleeping Monday evening.
Maissa told investigators that she discovered the missing items when she woke up maybe hours after the robbery.
“It is still a mystery how the robber sneaked with ease inside her room and snatches the bag without rousing from her sleep. Our investigators are looking deeper into the case, especially on the angle of inside job,” Rosales said.
