AN ESTIMATED P150,000 worth of suspected shabu was recovered in a police anti-narcotics operation at Barangay Lopez Jaena, La Paz, Iloilo City, evening of Sept 12, 2018.
The operation was conducted at around 11 p.m.
Arrested were Fredierick Sumullo, 26, of Cabangbang St., Jaro; Gus Salarda, 45, of Alta Tierra Village, Jaro ; Lexie Cordero, 23, of Alalasan, Lapuz; and Jennifer Potato, 40, of Yulo Drive, Arevalo district.
Members of the Iloilo City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit (ICPO-CDEU) and the Iloilo City Police Station 2 targeted Sumullo in the operation.
Supt. Rogen Morales, ICPO-CDEU chief, said Sumullo is a newly identified drug personality.
“He used to work for a known well-known down line of slain drug personality Richard Prevendido,” Morales added.
Cordero is allegedly Sumullo’s live-in partner while the three other suspects allegedly worked for him as “runners.”
Sumullo was placed under police surveillance a month ago before he was finally arrested Wednesday night.
Recovered from the suspects were 12 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 12 grams and with an estimated value of P150,000 and P5,000 marked money.
The four suspects are now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
