Serve And Build

JOHN Christian Lopez, 20, of Jaro, Iloilo City, a graduating student of Philippine Science High School, is both a missionary of Youth For Christ and a nation-builder of iLead Trainings.

He underwent familial crises which resulted in the separation of his parents who are now both absent in his life. But his present situation strengthened his faith in God and motivated him to serve others.

With his talent in public speaking, he aims to be a speaker who inspires and positively influences his listeners.

As a Grade 12 learner in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics track, he dreams of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon.

Through the two organizations he joined, he openly expresses his passion for serving the poor and the broken as he wants to alleviate the condition of those who suffer economically and mentally.

How he presently manages his life is guided by his life verse found in Jeremiah 29:11:  ” For I know well of the plans I have in mind for you. Plans for your welfare, not for woe. Plans to give you a future full of hope.”

“Everything that I experienced was a part of His greater plans for me. It was His way of preparing me to become who I am today – a leader, a speaker, and a nation-builder.”
