HBO All Week Edition: Victoria At Her Best entertainment
HBO carries over into the Victorian era this week with The Nevers and brings two of the UK’s most famous stories of the period to the side.
This week, there’s a premiere that stands out the most on HBO’s agenda. Subscribers to the platform can log in from today on Dark and Supernatural London, Which is a mysterious and horror story that Netflix competed with.
While on Netflix, we have Los Iriformes with Sherlock Holmes immersed in the dark arts, HBO Show The Nevers. The most deprived people in society are threatened by a supernatural event, Amalia Tru and Penance Adair, strong and adventurous women, decide to protect them and confront these supernatural powers.
Away from the celebrity detective character, the woman is increasingly popular in series like this one. Leading figures capable of unraveling complex and dangerous mysteries such as that of the tenant at 221B Baker Street. Remarkably, both systems present a series of eras based on supernatural mysteries.
To accompany this great premiere, HBO has included in its schedule two movies that depict times and the highest social class very well. On the one hand Queen Victoria, Biography of the early years of the country’s second longest reign and one of its most important queens, played by Emily Blunt. On the other hand, we return to magic and horror Photo of Dorian GrayOscar Wilde’s work featured on the big screen.
For those who want to return to the present, this week a documentary on personal stories opens in the United States today. In 2011, Fallows created a blog for The Atlantic asking readers to share engaging and interesting stories about their cities that would otherwise be missed by the national press. In one week, they received over 1,000 responses. This documentary is about some of those who live in small communities.
